I am no Hero

I've been thinking for couple of days that being a hero if somewhat fun. Picture that you are Superman or Spiderman... it's kindda cool to stand on top of the highest building with your arms on your hips while cooly watching the people beneath you walking by peacefully and happily, knowing that somebody will save them in case any bad thing happens. Shit happens, but Superman will always be there to save your day.

If I were Superman, I wouldn't have had any difficulties when travelling. I could go to Bangkok with $0 in my pocket. I wouldn't need any iPod as I could go to any concerts all over the world without paying any penny. I would've prefered to watch Greenday compared to Oasis as I think Greenday is better. Too bad though, Greenday doesn't come to Singapore. Hmm... maybe they think Singapore is too small and they can't afford to play in a relatively small number of people. But I guess they wouldn't mind to come to Singapore and perform in front of Superman, hahaha....

If I were Spiderman, I wouldn't have suffered when my left shoulder was dislocated when playing football, or when spraining my ankle when jumping around. I wouldn't need to queue for a bus as I could've spread my web and swinging around here and there. Finding a perfect dating location shouldn't be that difficult. Pick a place, my dear, your wish is my command...

But I am no hero... and that what makes it special. I don't need to conceal my identity and just act the way I am. I have no extra tight clothes to wear in case I sense any danger. In my opinion, being a hero would be very boring as there's nothing much left to conquer, knowing that you can do any extraordinary things at ease. Unless you want to have some fun by conquering the world, ... I guess that's the reason why some good heroes turn bad. Haha... I guess Lex Luthor is a more suitable character for me than Superman.
